One of the most prestigious personal brands is that of the Nobel Peace Prize Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, born in 1918 known in his country as Madiba.
Mandela was the first president of South Africa democratically elected through universal suffrage as well as the leader of the Umkhonto we Sizwe, the armed arm of the African National Congress (Cna).
In 1962 Was Arrested and convicted of sabotage, in addition to other charges, life imprisonment. Mandela was 27 years in jail, most of which was confined to Robben Island Prison. Upon its release, the 11 February 1990, Mandela led his party in negotiations to achieve multiracial democracy in South Africa, thing that was achieved in 1994 with the first democratic elections by universal suffrage. Mandela won the election and was president from 1994 Until 1999, frequently prioritizing their reconciliation.

After 27 years in prison, Mandela did not think of the Revenge, thought of peace. At 92 years continues to witness South African politics.
